Last year, OHS FBLA chartered Opelousas Senior High School's first Little Free Library, and we're excited to see this service project officially come to life on our campus!
A special thank you to our Agriculture Department for constructing the library and completing its installation for our students, families, and community to enjoy. 🧡🖤

While OHS serves students in grades 7-12, the library is for our entire Tiger community. We welcome books for readers of all ages, from our youngest family members to adults.

The library is located on the east side of the school building near the bus ramp, making it easy to drive by, drop off a donation, pick up a book, or both!

Safety begins at home! This week, St. Landry Parish School District is highlighting essential fire safety tips to help keep our students, families, and community safe.
Take a moment to review these key safety practices with your family:
🚨 Test Alarms Monthly: Press the test button on all smoke alarms every month.
🚗 Plan 2 Ways Out: Create and practice a home escape plan with two exits from every room.
🍳 Watch Your Cooking: Never leave food unattended on the stovetop.
🔥 Give Heaters 3 Feet: Keep space heaters at least three feet from anything that can burn.
🏃♂️ Get Out, Stay Out: Once you escape a fire, go to your family meeting spot and never re-enter the building.
Let’s work together to practice fire safety every day! 🚒👨🚒

⚠️ WRISTBANDS ARE REQUIRED FOR EVERYONE SCHOOL-AGE AND UP. Wristbands must be WORN, VISIBLE, and INTACT.
💳 This is a CASHLESS EVENT, including all concession stands.
🚫 NO HOODED CLOTHING will be allowed on the premises. Spectators wearing a hood will be denied entry.

👑 The 2026 Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned during the Pep Rally on Friday during the school day.
🏟️ The Homecoming Court will walk at Friday night’s game, weather permitting.
Please remember for Friday night:
